Nancy Belvisi, LCSW, is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Master’s from the Jane Addams College of Social Work. Her education at U of I focused on Children and Family Services, and she went on to receive training in Ericksonian Hypnosis, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and post graduate training dealing with issues of loss and grief.

Clients Served:
Adolescents, Adults, Couples, Families

Nancy has over 20 years of experience working with a wide range of clients, including families, couples, adolescents (eleven years and older), and individuals. Children ten years of age and younger will often be seen within a family therapy context.

Nancy’s approach with clients focuses on the here and now, as she works respectfully with each individual client to help them identify their inner strengths and areas of competency in their lives. Nancy believes that clients come into therapy with many skills and (often unrealized) strengths, and she enjoys working collaboratively with them to help find ways to identify and successfully tap into those skills.
